We are
situated in Abbey Place, which lies within the administrative centre of
Tavistock, adjacent to Abbey Bridge spanning the River
Tavy.
Tavistock is
the primary market town in West Devon, nestling between Dartmoor and the county
border with Cornwall. The city of Plymouth lies to the south and fine road
links exist to the rest of the country in the form of the M5 motorway and the
A30 or A38 dual carriageway routes around the edge of Dartmoor.
The town's Benedictine Abbey
was the location of one of the first printing presses to be
established in England in 1525, and some of the remaining parts of
the complex have found new uses in the
present day.
